It's been soooo long since I post here on DA! So this is a Sumatran tiger painted from different references on Photoshop, Wacom tablet.It's a shame such a beautiful animal is disappearing from our planet. We fucking humans don't need to kill them for medicine, there are many other ways to cure whatever we have to cure... D:
And zoos are only helping in making a giant domestic cat, not saving them from what they are supposed to be.

Beautiful! And humans destroy/ruin everything. I hope that something changes and these cats don't become extinct.
Though I disagree with you about zoos. I think they are necessary in a way because without zoos most people wouldn't even know about these animals and I think it creates awareness about them. I'm not saying everything about zoos is right, but I think doing away with them would make the situation worse.

Hum, in 2013, not really. I knew tigers when I was really young from books/tv and today you don't need to go to a zoo to be aware of their situation. Actually, the problem come from the retarded people where tigers live that should live in zoos instead of them. But I'm not bashing the zoos, just the fact that they are not the solution as many people can think. That's specific for tigers, for other species it's a great way to protect them.

I'm not bashing the zoos, I like them for helping a ton of animals from being extinct, but the fact with tigers is that they can't live there. You can't put a zoo tiger in the wild and expect him to survive. So yeah the only way to save the tigers is to stop killing them.
