LoL... I think Mai and Zuko work well together cause they're both kind of emo... however, if you want something homo: do something funny for Ty Li and Azula, cause I SO think that they had some kind of b**ch/dominatrix thing going on, Azula on top.
However (in my mind), even though Ty Li was doing stuff behind closed doors with Azula, I think she has a crush on Mai, but respects the weird emo love/hate that Mai has for Zuko, and that's why, when Mai was in trouble with Azula for having helped Zuko and Co. get away, she did her pressure-point poke-thing against Azula. Mai and Ty Li even had a brief almost-hug-thing at that point.
Yeah, I might not have even thought of it expcept that when I was watching the series for the first time, it was with a female friend of mine who's gay, and she kept pointing out little things, so I started thinking about exactly how those relationships all work.

I wonder if Azula would be more pro-Maiko or more Zutara, either way it's kind of inconvenient for her. Then again, she didn't shoot Zuko's head off with lightening in "The Beach," but I'm pretty sure that's the reaction she'd have if it was Katara in Mai's place. XD

You know, these two deserve eachother. They connected in a way that I sincerely think he couldn't connect the same with Katara. Mai and Zuko and two genuinly screwed up kids. His father crippled him and kicked out of the house. Her mother stamped out any emotions she might have had. they recognize this in eachother, and they fell for eachother.

It's not that she doesn't have any emotion, she just can't show what she's feeling very well (with the exception of boredom and annoyance) because her mother didn't want her 'ruining her father' or something along those lines. Which I think is cruel especially as they bend over backwards for their toddler, because he's a boy.
