I have a number of reasons as to why this one took so long to finish, but I don’t want to sound like I’m giving excuses, so I’ll just say that I’m sorry.

I hope it’s obvious that the scribbles in the speech bubbles are an indication that Charlotte is out of focus with the world around her. It’s easier if she stops focusing on the details around her. She doesn’t want to see how Nique is clutching Tristam’s shoulder.
