I have not touched this fandom in 8+ years but suddenly it's come back into my life like some weird nostalgic whiplash.

But uh- you know what? I'm finally sharing a character that I used to draw almost religiously back when I was a kid who shouldn't of at all been watching Happy Tree Friends.
But I'm older. And I still like this series.

This is Merry the Hedgehog. An odd inhabitant of the HTF universe.
She's a blue hedgehog reminiscent of Sonic, but much softer.
She only wears her red-green striped scarf and barely speaks, a selective mute and prefers to draw her comments than speak. Or use whatever on hand to write out a short response.

Her weird quirk (if I ever get around to making a comic to show first hand-) is that she is always one step ahead of everything... or one step back. Allowing her to witness any present murders, deaths, and accidents.
So her main gimmick is witnessing the carnage and choosing not to get involved.

She has no big affiliations or friendships with any 'main character' as she's well determined they're the ones most likely to get killed on a daily basis.
But she is Mime's neighbor, both well happy with their quiet surroundings. But they never interact past noticing one across the lawn and waving hi to each other.
