If you're an anime fan... No, not even just anime fans! Fans of great animated movies! and you haven't seen "Tekkon Kinkreet", go rent it... buy it... borrow it... steal it...Well, maybe not the last one... But find a way to watch it!!!

The animation is beautiful as are the backgrounds... The characters are simplistic, like in the original manga, but are unique all together. And, check this out, they went for the "R" rating. Groovy...

I wanted to draw this picture after seeing the complicated backgrounds in screen stills from the movie. I used MANYYYY references for this one, most of which you can find on google's image search. Anyway, I rarely add backgrounds to my pictures, and if I do for some reason, they are lazy. Half-assed. Simple. I need practice with backgrounds because I focuse sooooooo much on the character, which isn't all bad, but... I'm going into animation and I must learn the concept of layering!! Curses!

I will resubmit this after I've colored it.

Should be entertaining.

And Kuro and Shiro should stand out more... Go Cats!
