Afraid for his mother, the small creature knelt beside her. Small noises of concern left his throat. He began to shake his mother, hoping to aide her awake, but it was to no avail. Had they killed her, too?
"There you are." Rang in his ears, and he was suddenly grabbed by his long tail. Were they going to hurt him, too? Were they going to hurt his mother more? Danger! As quick as a gunshot, the small one whipped around and slashed at the one who grabbed him with his claws. As he turns, he sees that he got his assailant well in the face with 6 long, deep wounds etched down his face. The man bent over and let out a loud cry of pain. It didn't take long for blood to begin streaming down his face. He looked so frightening now.
Who was he? Why are there more of them running after the small one and his mother?
As one last defensive move, the small creature then wrapped himself over his mother's body. He has to protect her.
The man then pointed a threatening finger at the bother of them. "Contain the dangerous specimen."

I'm no writer, but I wanted to give some point of view! Anyway, Frankie lore woo!! I hope you all like it. I'll explain the situation some more in summary:
Essentially, the Frankie and his parents attempted to escape the facility. Papa got killed in the process. The security personnel shot him to death. This distracted mama for a moment, but she continued running. Unfortunately, she was surrounded by personnel with Frankie, and she was tranquilized. Frankie didn't know what was going on, so he was trying to wake her up. Jonas Kaiser (the man in the foreground) grabbed him, and so Frankie slashed him in the face and immediately went to stand next to mama to protect her. He was eventually tranquilized, and they were separated indefinitely.
