Couple days late, but all month is pride month so I'm not really late
I wanted to draw Charles properly with his flag, because he is very proud of who he is. It took him a while to realize why he was so different from everyone. He never felt the same for women as other guys did. And when he found out he fancied men, and started seeing and being around men that were like him, he was much happier and far more comfortable being himself. He wasn't entirely open but he made it known that no one was to be ridiculed simply for being themselves and loving someone. Further into his years he found and lost love, and he also starting putting money towards many organizations for all types of queer spaces just so everyone could have a place to be themselves.
