Sculpture of my Dutch Angel Dragon character Tea.Ref Sheet -
The scales and feathers were all individually sculpted than places on one by one. I used faux fur for the fur and used a resin in the eyes to create more depth. It is hand sculpted, hand painted and hand detailed from start to finish.
The sculpture stands at 7 inches high or 18 cm
Length not including wooden plaque 7 inches high or 18 cm
Wingspan is about 11 inches or 28cm
Materials - Polymer clay, wire, 3 small flat head screws, wooden plaque, faux fur, resin, paint, gloss, matt finish, a gold earring and E6000 glue.

I love the use of faux fur with polymer clay. The feathers came out great! Those are so hard to texture. I just wish I could see the eyes better. They're small and are almost the same color as the surrounding scales, instead of the luminous cyan I was expecting. I'm sure your Dad is gonna love it though!
