I looooooooooved Steven Universe back then and I still do~ I also liked how expressive the characters were despite their simple designs, so I made this Steven expressions gems hybrid thing. I always like making things in sets, and I see that hasn't changed in 8 years lol.

One thing I used to do a lot at this time is draw with multicolored lines, which I'm honestly not fond of. Maybe my past self thought that sticking to black or brown lines would make the piece look boring??? That probably doesn't make any sense, maybe I was looking for ways for my artwork to stand out??

Despite these self criticisms, I still think these set of Stevens turned out cute~
