Description When I first joined deviantArt over two and a half years ago, the first picture I posted was a portrait of Obi-Wan Kenobi. After seeing the Draw This Again Meme, I decided to redraw it (alright, technically I did use a different reference picture) to see how I've improved in my time on this site. So here we have my 70th deviation (70th!): Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars Episode II!

Wow...I can't believe I didn't see and comment on this beautiful portrait before... AWESOME likeness--perfect, in fact; the detailing is gorgeous, with the linear shading working SO well here for depth and realism. Great textures, in the hair, robes and beard--and those eyes! SO realistic! A marvelous portrait, and one of my favorite versions of Ewan's portrayal of Obi Wan.

Aw, thanks so much! I... don't know what to say other than that. I really, really appreciate the kind words. Obi-Wan's long been my favourite character in pretty much anything, so I'm glad you think I did him justice.
