Description Eg reiste i minnet

Tilbake til isen som fødde meg

Kjenner varmen frå pusten som tødde meg

UruR

Once upon a time, the Black Three Eyed Bull walked down the trunk of the White Ash, magnificent All-tree. With him, he held the tokens of ancestors - memory in one hand, and life force in the other.

When the Black Bull reached the roots, he saw among them nasty mind - thorns.
- Those aren't supposed to be here. - Said the Bull in an echoing voice of introspection - The All-tree cannot drink spirit from the earth, and poor little underground animals can't move among the roots.

He first struck one of the thorns with the jingling life force of his forebears, but instead of having it removed, a swarm of black leeches took off of it and flew around.
- What life are you? - Asked the Bull gently, but no answer was heard. - What is your name? - he asked again, this time with a deep earthgrunt voice.
- We are not, we are nothing on our own, we eat. We eat. Fear. Anger. Fear. Despair. Anxiety. Hate. Jelaousy. We eat all that makes you are, so we can become too, so we can say that we are.

The eyeholes of memory fired up with amber glow, and under the dome of mindhome he felt a tingling sensation, that he knows them. But he is now so much more than he was then.

- Eat from me and see that "I" is made of much more. - said the Bull lovingly. All the leeches took off from the thorns, and sat on the bull's neck. He fed them with his love-blood and let them cry for how wrong they ate.
- Now you are. Live in the roots and eat no more, for you don't need it.
But as soon as he said it, all of those who wanted to be, vanished in the echo of the All-tree.

The memory told the Bull again, that the thorns were once roots, but the All-tree will now turn them into a defense, a barrier so that nobody else can use the roots to enter the Deepsleep. Pest must still be love-controlled once in a while though.

- Healthy roots are a peace in the crown. - said the Black Three Eyed Bull quietly, and silence took over the realm again, as he walked further down the roots, to reach Deepsleep, and in the darkest depth find the door to Godhood.

This work is awesome, but there's one thing, that troubles me.
This gallery is called "Celtic Slavic" - why is there a scandinavian symbol here? If someone told you we, russians, used runes, it's wrong - we didn't, even though we were pretty close to scandinavians. So called "slavic runes" you might've seen is a 1980-s newage fake.
Oh, and one more thing: the sign you drawn looks more like rune Yr, which is closer to celtic tradition, but doesn't mean "bull".

It is a bindrune combining Isa, Nauthiz and Uruz and I'm very aware that it is norse, that was intentional. I'm aware of everything you've written here, except for the gallery name. On my page it's called "Sacred Grove" and has nothing about Celts or Slavs in the description, nor is it featured in any groups. Which gallery did you mean?

Someone else's gallery it's featured. Can't remember, who's exactly.
And... tbh Imma kinda wannabe runologist, and tho this bindrune looks pretty, it have some parts I might call wrong.
1. Isa is allready included in both Ur and Naud, so you don't need copy that.
2. All runes in bindrune must have equal size, unless you're going to reduce the meaning of one of them.

I don't think magic is an exact science, and looking at how runes changed over the ages, and how different magic sigils looked in the norse folklore the creators of those didn't think that as well. There's plenty of examples of sigils that combine both runes and more abstract symbols Beyond the curtain of our understanding nothing is solid, all borders are fluid, and everything is connected.

This bindrune depicts a bull (Ur, my main totemic animal) impaled with a cold spear (Isa) in its side.

I know the meanings.
Which is more interesting is the meanings of runes in touch of what they're consist of. Have a theory 'bout it.
Do you have discord?

Beautiful story. Love the dark degenerate feel to it.

Yes, Wardruna has been an integral part of my spiritual development. Not many bands are able to achieve that, each song a spell.

Oh wow, that's amazing. I love the details and the use of negative space! Awesome job

Thanks! The first version didn't had the long bit of sky (if that's what you mean by negative space), but looked way too boring for a central composition

Ah yeah I'd have to agree there. The sky as is adds a nice element to it! It really wouldn't have the same feel without it
