The Legion of Doom have taken over the city of Canterlot and bested the heroes. Grogar declares himself Emperor of Equestria again, while Chrysalis becomes Queen of the changelings again, Tirek and Cozy Glow lead his army of foul creatures to conquer the other kingdoms for their Emperor of Darkness, who intends to rebuilt an even darker and more powerful empire that history cannot ignore.

Under Grogars rule Equestria was now a land of chaos and suffering, just as it was in the past under his rule. But there is a small ounce of hope, as the heroes are bound and determined to stop him, no matter how hopeless it seems.

Will they be stopped or is Equestria doomed forever?
