I’ve come across a lot of slow worms this month! Slow worms are cute legless lizards that we get here in the UK. They just sort of slowly blep around eating slugs, shed their tails at the drop of a hat, and are basically defenseless and adorable. Sadly that means they get caught by cats a lot.
I thought it’d be cute to draw one as a dragon, albeit not a very fearsome one. I doubt the cat has much to worry about.

Nah, different branch of the reptile family tree. Slow worms aren't really that snake like when you see them up close. They have eyelids, can shed their tails, and aren't as flexible as snakes.
