Fiery TendrilsGot up early, did an entire trip out locally in freezing cold foggy conditions, and this was the only decent shot. Sob. I hope people like it.
I wasn't sure about the crop; I couldn't get the tree any further in frame as there were houses just to the side of it.

To be honest I don't really know what I think of this one. It does have some nice elements but I find the contrast between the light in the forground and the very dull sky creates a disconnected look. I really think it might be better with 1/3 sky and 2/3 land but then of course you cut off the tree.
The main thing is that you got out and did some shooting which is something that I haven't been doing.
