Quick Sketch time!
An Illo from that project I'm always talking about. It's mostly Cloak & Dagger oriented, but there are medieval elements to it as well, one of them being heavy infantry used only during battles and not as mainstream soldiers, since muskett and guns make heavy armor useless at times.
This guy here I based off Goth Knights, he hails from the northern kingdoms in my world. I wasn't very good at doing armor at the time, so it was kind of a practice for plate armor and gothlike helmets. The other elements from his armor are spikes and edgy plates, as northern culture relies a lot on mysticism and intimidation to win.
The knight uniform includes a kite shield (I think that's what it's called...) (My favorite kind of shield BTW) and an Estoc as primary weapon. They also use Claymores, Longswords and sometimes Scimitar-like weapons.
This took about 30-40 min or less to complete (hey, that's quite fast for me!) I did it on a scrap piece of paper.
