Description This is my first digital painting....ever I started this a while ago, but never got around to finishing it... I never posted it because it is only a WIP... but as time goes on, I doubt I will have a chance to finish this....

Anyways! Tip and comments, please! ( I have no idea what im doing xD ) Experimentation is a slow process -_-; The skin alone took so long.....T_T but i guess practice makes perfect

Finish it if you like, but I think it looks good how it is -- the colored parts kind of pop out at you.

I think I'll take your advice and see how things go...and then decide whether or not to finish it. Thanks a lot for the comment... Your opinion just catalysed a concept for another / future picture ;D (so thank you very very much!)

Well, I agree totally with 2b. I think you should know you`re doin' good, so son't be so modest, man. The done part is excellent! The art style reenforce it too. Great job, you must consider to finish her.

Thank you for the imput and encouragement ;_;! I do hope to finish it sometime in the future..if so, I hope you stumble upon it again ;D

And by the way, I wouldnt have guessed english was your second language...You speak better than a lot of other people I know online o_<

Great start on it. Hope to see more digi paiting from you.

As far as tips go.. when I do digital painting like how I actually paint.. I started with a base color that will compliment the picture and work in thin layrs and build up until I get the right lighting and shadows designed.. @.@ It takes forever but the results are typically real nice. Thanks for the tips!! I'm currently experimenting with a (extremely simplified) simliar style (with the base color)...I 'm very interested in finding the outcome, and taking it further with the method you suggested will only help me more, so thanks again!!
