Description
A kiss, only when it dances anxious across gemstone knuckles, will release a galaxy of winking secrets trapped.
A beautiful djinn of knowledge awaits her freedom from this trinket, many forgotten tales soon to spill eager from frowning lips - flowing easy, just as the curtain of silvery hair that obscures sad, lonely, azure eyes.
What is the Crystals Series ?
Crystals is a series based on strong fantasy female characters. Each girl is defined by the features of a single rare gem or stone, interpreted in a way that best represents my style and imagination.
Characters blend within snippets of story to invoke a sense of wonder while viewing each painting, much like our Daemon Animauras series.
Crystals is a series funded by patreon and twitch support!
If you would like to participate in future polls, see updates before anyone else, and help choose the next crystal for our series, consider pledging on patreon !

PARTICIPATE IN THE JULY 2021 CHALLENGE:
Sylessae's Ten Minute ChallengeHey you - yeah, you! What if I told you ten minutes a day could bring you one step closer to your achieving your creative ambitions? Join in July's #TenMinuteChallenge and you might be surprised at how productive you can be when you start to focus on building healthy, manageable habits. Join our community as we make this ten minute pledge to ourselves - we all deserve time to pour passion into something we love.Read on for details!,I’m always encouraging creative people to follow their dreams - no matter what challenging path that might lead them on - and so it breaks my heart when I hear the dreaded:“Well, I’d love to pursue that, but I have no time.”And hey, I’m guilty of this phrase too. A lot, in fact. In a world where everything feels pressing and everyone else’s successes are blasted on social media at all hours, it can seem impossible to keep up.I want to prove that we DO have time. And if I’m being honest, I think I need to prove it to myself just as much as I want to prove it to the rest of the world. With that being said, this leads me into what I’m planning as our next monthly challenge.I’m calling it the Ten Minute Challenge. Everyone has ten free minutes a day, right?Even if it feels like we can't conjure up some extra time, I think it would be simple enough to trade a small portion of our usual routine to make time for ten minutes of focusing on something we love. I’m totally guilty of scrolling through my phone for at least an hour a day, so I’m determined to take just a chunk of that and put it to productive use. What do I expect to come from it?Stream chat and I have done the math (because let’s be honest, I’m not great at math on my own LOL) and ten minutes a day for a month totals out to five hours. That might not seem like a lot, but that’s five hours more a month that you’re pouring into your passion project than you were spending before. That five hours a month could be an illustration, a short story, a catchy diddy or something else! But it’s something! And sometimes, making time to do something challenging isn’t about that lack of time at all; it’s about having the confidence to actually DO the thing. And if any of you have ever watched the confidence bit from my creative motivation course, you know that building confidence requires DOING.That’s where this challenge comes into play. I hope that by making something a habit for 10 minutes a day will make it approachable, fun, and rewarding. Maybe, it’ll even leave us feeling like we want to contribute MORE time to it.Feel free to tackle the ten minute challenge in whatever manner you wish. I will be using the ten minute challenge to practice writing with the hopes that I might sharpen up my skills for the blurbs I include with my illustrations. You could do studies, or doodle things that make you happy, or even spend ten minutes a day on a larger project that you share when the month is over.If you're stuck on how to spend your time, but still want to join in for some community fun, we'll be hosting small segments on our livestreams for inspiration. Each day we're live (and on the days in between I'll be sharing status updates!) we'll be learning a brand new art term and, if we have time, I'll host a small demo to help the new knowledge sink in!What will you discover with your ten minutes a day?PARTICIPATION AND RULESWe challenge you to create or pursue a creative hobby for at least ten minutes a day!*Tag all your submissions with #TenMinuteChallenge for a live feature.Daily submissions are welcome. Don't forget to tag each one! There are no rules as to what type of creative medium you use or how you spend your ten minutes. If you're not sure how to spend your ten minutes, join our livestreams for small daily challenges where we learn art terms at the start of every stream!*If you want spend more than ten minutes a day on this challenge, remember the goal is to keep it consistent! If you're pouring a lot of time into something or burning out before the end of the month, you might be pushing just a little too much at once! You can always build on that ten minutes later on! Why share my ten minute deviations with the community?Ultimately, you might inspire someone. If they see you doing wonderful things with your ten minutes a day, they might also feel inclined to chase their dreams too. If you can do something meaningful with ten minutes, why can't they?In addition, I'll be looking for and featuring deviations tagged #TenMinuteChallenge during our livestreams spanning the course of this month. You can upload daily, weekly, or one final project by the 31st of July. Feel free to share anything you create in the comments of this journal, even if it's progress shots. Deviations tagged with #TenMinuteChallenge will also receive fragments, favorites and/or comments from me!One final thing I want to stress - you may not be able to come up with finished pieces after ten minutes or even after the entire month. The goal of this challenge is to build a habit and foster enjoyment for the creation process itself. Once that habit is formed you'll find yourself more confident and may even realize your dreams are nearer and more possible than they once seemed. So let's knock perfection aside and really hone in on our love for learning.I can't wait to see where ten minutes take you. Are you in?
