I saw this piece some time ago on tumblr, and loved it.
First, it's awesomely painted, and I like how it becomes more defined on their face than on the rest of the painting. Also, the colors, only on Sherlock, and to me it kind of looks like they're draining from his face as he discovers this ... but that maybe my imagination ^^"
Secondly, all the emotions in there ! it's heart crushing, and as much as I'd like to see in the new season John be angry and punch Sherlock in the face, I think this would be a lot more accurate as a reaction for a more "broken" John. But we never know, he might have changed after the fall...
Moffat sure have possessed you because now I'm dying to see season 3 aaarrghhh !!

You should try fanvids (in case you haven't already) b/c now there're many new ones and they're so a-m-a-z-i-n-g and breathtaking and so full of emotion ;_;

I haven't tried fanvids...I've been a little put off by some of the fandom's behavior so I've been avoiding them. Not counting the fact that I'm not into "Johnlock" x) (I find "bromance" a lot more interesting 
So it's been really hard to find fanfics that suit me, and I'm afraid it'd be the same for vids.
Do you have any you might recommend, though ? You make me want to try again
