I've been beta-ing Zak's story for some time and, without a doubt, Reki is my favorite character (as Zak is very aware... ). His fault for creating a character for me to fangirl over. She is a tortured, not-entirely-stable warrior with a dark past, but her Badass Quotient is so high, even that doesn't stop her from often serving as the voice of sanity for the main cast.

I based Reki's design on the iconic portrait of the "Afghan Girl" that National Geographic featured on its June 1985 issue to give a face to the refugees who fled Afghanistan during the nine-year Soviet-Afghan War.
