no need for apologies. and I know, I just got fed up with getting 50 pgviews or more on a piece of shit, and none on an actual piece of art. After taking art classes in college, and especially art history you get such a better respect for what is, and is not art. One girl who commented in my journal said that I was being rediculous to ask people to look at my other stuff, cause why should they if they are only interesting in my anthro art. Said it would be like forcing a person to buy a pepsi as well as a coke. I dont think so at all personally. I think that if you are an artist you should try to force your way out into the art world, and if making another account for your more non fetish stuff, then so be it.
To be honest I never really liked my stuff being called anthro anyway and used to only post in the fantasy section because I considered myself a werwolf artist, not an anthro artist, but broke down because I wanted more attention on my werewolves. go figure eh? No, with me moving into more professional classes and professional looking artwork, I didnt want it muddled in with my more fun and yes fetish'ish stuff such as anthro's and whatnot.
Sorry for the long rant, but I figured you'd understand and know im not taking it out on you.

I used to think i was an anthro artist. But I am a fantasy artist. I draw mroe than just anthro so i know exactly what you are talking about. And After going to art school i still dont knwo what art is. I do know that people love my shitty stuff. What im abotu to say is just my opinion and if you take this as anything more than advice, just remember that this is how i see this issue but sometimes things can be a little tough to accept:
Don't let your head get too big. even though that is the main Trait of a true artist it can lead to very unhealthy habits. Habits like thinking what you think is good art is what everybody else thinks is good art.
My dad told me that
spending millions of hours on one piece just to have it ignored and then wondering why some people dont like it as much as your 100 peices of lower quality work. Its probably just that there is more to look at with your lower quality work.
Finally I have made some good money off my art without having to force my way into anything. If people want it, they will get it. Remember these things as you mature into a great artist which i can see you are.
By the way. I think all my work is crap. all of it. every last bit of it. none of it is ever good enough. but i do it and why? cause of all of you. I dont care what art of mine you like. point is you come to see it. I love that. thats what drives me to do my art. What drives you?
