It well show the bond between characters. Especially that how one missing for passed away one. By the way it is nice idea with showing him as a ghost by just luminoscity lineart. Light aroung him is also good.
You did pretty well with making fur of scarf one. Seems rather realistic. Definitly it needed a lot of work from you.
But also most of the picture is so dark, edpecially the left side. And I think the lights on the scarf are too shard and with such end of it it seems alike this scarf is from metal, than wool. And I think sky could looks better also with some mre stars or just a moon.

Thank you so much for the critique! But overall, I wanted the picture to be dark. That was my original intention, besides the spirit. As for the scarf, I know what you mean. I rushed on the scarf's shading. I was planning on fixing it, eventually. ^^
