I present thy all ''MOCCHI'' [plural: mocchin]
-- This is basically a little info about them.
"Mocchin are small, pure black coloured creatures who dress themselves up to show their true selves. They find themselves rather dull, so they pimp themselves up with all sorts of things; Mainly, it's through the way of how one Mocchi clothes themselves.

Besides their beautiful attire, they also wear masks. Masks can come in various shapes and sizes- As long as it fits for the Mocchi, anything can work. However, there are special kind of masks the regular ol' Mocchi can't wear. An example are masks with effects, since those are for mages.

Whenever one Mocchi's mask or attire happens to get a little.. Rusty, so to say, they can go to special repairmocchin. These guys are often spread-out throughout a village of a certain Mocchi population. Often times, the material of the attire, the currency and material used in general are dependent on the environment the village is in. An example could be a village near a mossy lake; Attires could be made of mosses or grasses, while currency could be clay. There's no real "set" currency value over all the Mocchi villages existent in the world.

The bodies of Mocchi always happen to miss.. Something. Whether that be a functional mouth, eyes or anything else- They always miss something. Some Mocchin have eyes, others have mouths.. While others, on the rare occasion, may have a tail or even ears. You never know with these guys.

A feature ALL Mocchin have, are sensitive touchy-feely sensors in their hands and feet. This has developed over the millennia due to some Mocchin not having eyes. This also goes for e.g. missing ears- All non-eared Mocchin have little seal-like holes inside their skulls to make up for that. It just coincidentally happens to be invisible!

As an individual, one Mocchi may seem weak. But, with all of them together, they do create a powerful force not to mess with."

Now let's get to the rules of making your own Mocchi + trait colour explanation!Since this is a SEMI-OPEN SPECIES, you can make your own as long as you follow the rules below.
Also, damn, you really don't have to ask to make one, since, honestly, as long as you follow the rules, you're good to go man.

RARITY TRAIT EXPLANATION

Common
The majority of Mocchi have this trait- Or, well, it tends to be seen a lot.

Uncommon
A tinier majority than the average Mocchi have these traits- But it's still considered fairly normal.

Rare
These kinda traits are rare, say, for 10% outta 100. It's a bit mesmerizing when you see one Mocchi with a rare trait.

Mage
Even rarer than purple traits- These traits can be seen a few good times during one's lifetime, usually Mocchin that are mages have these traits.
(Note: Non-mage Mocchin can still have clothes with magical effects if you desire so)

[not seen on this ref] Hidden
These bad boys are known as the ancient traits- The traits Mocchin of long, long ago used to have. It's.. Once in a lifetime you get to see these nowadays!

HOLY MOTHER OF CHRIST!!!!11 (aka Fable/Mythic traits)
These traits are said to be never seen with regular Mocchi- They've only been seen with Mythics and Fables (Mythics with way less powers) so far.

RULES FOR CREATING YOUR OWN MOCCHI

1. You can use ALL the common and uncommon traits! But, max. ONE rare [purple] trait!
2. No, this means you can't have a mama mia, hidden or mythic trait for a free MYO.
3. It's advised to go through the traits references in order to prevent any mistakes.
4. Please credit me for the species when making your own. Especially the first time you upload your Mocchi.
5. Don't beg for more traits and such. See Eggeyes' for more info on getting more traits & MYOs.
6. Dzucchin, Mutants and Fables can't be made for free. Again, use Eggeyes' for more info.
7. Do NOT make a direct rip-off of an already existing character. This goes without saying.
8. Using existing IPs such as Pikachu as inspiration for your Mocchi is fine, but get these designs approved by me first.
