Handmade helmet. Long triangular polycarbonate plates are riveted together.Series of articulated plates are attached to the back and sides of the helmet.

Wow, the lacing looks awesome. The rivets are a bit long, but the construction looks solid.
I made a full yoroi about 7 years ago for a customer and I know how difficult the lacings are. Even though ours was much simpler.
And now as I'm writing this I googled yoroi, and this came up: samurai yoroi
That's the armour I made all those years ago. I had been wondering what came of it, if the customer ever managed to assemble the rest of it.
And now I found it, thanks to your photo leading me to search stuff.

That site seems quite familiar. I must have been looking at it when we made that last yoroi. I'll have to read more deeply for the next one.
I'm really hoping I could make a full suit for myself to go with the katana I forged last year. But now I have so many customer orders, that I don't have time to make any armour for myself.
By the way, is your yoroi made for a con or other event?
