Very interesting. I like that you did not try to forcibly "serious" the grotesque concept up, rather than embracing the absurdness, carefully adding a few layers of realism and detail to make it so much more unnerving.

This is so weird I literally just watched this episode yesterday for the first time. I was surprised how creepy it was but thats the 1st 2 seasons of the real ghostbusters for ya!

oh ya, i've loved every episode I've seen from the 1st 2 seasons. they had it down perfect, after that they slowly got less good as the series went on.

What I like most about Nexa (outside the fact that his gigantic and is supposedly at powerful as Gozer or the other Destructors) is that he's not really a bad guy, but had a valid grievance (humans treating the oceans like sh**), forcing Venkman to step up and calm the giant sea beast with a reasonable compromise.
Unfortunately, if Nexa was real, he'd had killed us all by now for messing with his domain
