Ehhh I'm really not that happy with it because I've not been able to capture the style I wanted. Unfortunatly I've had time restraints on this one. ( might go to scraps or something at some point )I was initially to do 18 illustrations for a storybook I made up for College, about a girl who chased her dreams, her dreams taking the form of a long legged rhino beetle. This particular illustration represents the feeling of not getting any closer to your goal, no matter how hard you try. You can probably see that. The story itself didn't have a sad or happy ending, but left on a cliffhanger. Whether or not it ended up happily is whether or not the person who is relating themselves to this story has succeded in their career goals.
Sorry I've not been able to comment on all your stuff that much; day times on the computer involve working on this tight scheduled project and night times on the computer involve me literally falling asleep on msn -_-' I'll get around to them!

Unfortunatly I wont be finishing the story xD I've got no motivation to do any of the illustrations D: as soon as College is over I'm going back to working on my graphic novel, I've got 3ish paintings on the go and I want to try animating like Disney style D:

'What an unusual' angle was my first thought, but I really like that, overloaded that I've been with the straight on perspectives.
Very captivating art, and I think you caught the dreaminess there.

I kept doing straight on perspectives for ages. Angled ones are really fun to draw, particularly ones that distort proportion.

I'm doing 3 now, just to represent the story. God knows how I'm going to finish the other two by the upcomming deadline xD I can tell you now that those two wont be uploaded.
