I'll update this meme every year, and sorry it's so short. sigh, my father has all my old children drawings and they are probably in the garbage tbh
I started DA in 2011/12 (On my mothers account.) She's the one that found DA Muro. I was so amazed by the fact you could do art on the computer! Like what? That was unheard of lmao. Anyway, in 2012 I had a whole bunch of dog and cat drawings. I wanted to have an online kennel kind of thing, like @/ShockTherapyStables. Who was a huge idol of mine.
I got my own account in 2013 and only made drawings of Warrior cats hahh. I used a lot of lineart and on Christmas I got the tablet I have now, a Wacom intuos pen tablet. I had no idea how to use layers so everything was on one layer rip. No idea what anatomy even was apparently. Shading? Pfft no way.
In 2014 I started using the 'pen' brush I use today, and I obviously was still confused when it came to anatomy. I started shading and learned how to use layers. I lost pen pressure for a LONG TIME and I didn't know how to fix it so most of my drawings had crap lineart. I started to get the hang of backgrounds but they still sucked and took me forever. I moved over to this account and started clean, mainly because my old name was getting some shit.
In 2015 I got into huge fights with old friends, one of which I still hate to this day. They always brought me down and behind the screen I was always depressed. They still have a DA account and I hate seeing them lurk around my account, it always brings be back to those abusive times. Lots of Vent art I never posted and just I was never in a good mood. I couldn't get away from them because hah, we had classes together. (They thought they were a cat tbh. They would bite me, kick me, scratch me, hiss at me and growl??? Always bringing me down.) So most of my art was NOT my best...
In 2016 I moved and got the hell away from those people/that person. You can see a lot of improvement and little to no vent art! Improved on backgrounds, shading, everything! I was so happy and I had lots of new people in my life.
2017 I can't wait to see how I improve!
