Description
But the raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,
That one word, as if her soul in that one word she did outpour.
Nothing further then she uttered - not a feather then she fluttered -
Till I scarcely more than muttered `Other friends have flown before -
On the morrow she will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.'
Then the bird said, `Nevermore.'

A rather large piece done for my World of Darkness group. Not 100% happy with it but hey, at least its finally done....
We were talking about totem animals for our characters and I decided that a raven was prefect for my character Isaac.
They represent wits, intelligence, the dark side of the psyche, and death.
It's also incredibly close in spelling to a certain fae that Isaac is closely linked to aohueurhrmrmmm... Ravin . its ravin in case that wasnt painfully obvious.
Oh also I changed the pronoun of the raven from 'he' to 'she' because the raven here is supposed to symbolize ravin and how she's supposed to save him but also hellbent on making his life a living hell yeha
