I know the realism isn't 100%, but this is art
This piece was a practice in new techniques..
Among other things I've learned and used Apophysis to render the flames for the comet/asteroid. The render time was a b**th, well over 3 hours per flame. 5 flames used in total.
Anyway, please comment and give critique, the only way to learn and improve

It seems like the resolution on the moons is much lower than everything else. But anyway, it's a very nice image, especially the comet. Snyggt jobbat!

Heh, simple render time. Its usually about 24-28 hours for mine.

Haha, well - I really didn't have the need for that high quality settings, thought waiting 15 hours for a comet tail was quite enough :-p

I believe, this picture is better than you think!
The textures, the nebula, the illumination and especially the comet are well done!
