βEnervate is a spell that is used to restore a person to consciousness especially if he/she has been stunned.βDONE. THIS PICTURE IS FINALLY DONE. I think I spent 12 hours coloring this today alone. I'm surprised my hand hasn't fallen off!! I think this is my favorite piece that I've done so far.

--> [link] . If you remember, I submitted the line version of this...back in September? And I just now got around to coloring it. Featuring my favorite couple, Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger of course~
I wanted the background to have a lot of energy, and the same contrast between Draco and Hermione. She's so bright and colorful here, and he's not. That's the whole purpose behind the "Enervate". I got this idea of Draco being surprised by Hermione breaking down his walls, getting close to him and finally making him feel alive, whole, and all the wonderful and confusing feelings that come with love. The swirls emitting from his wand were supposed to show that, that she's working her magic on him and it's showing. And that maybe she just doesn't know it yet.
The original is SO HUGE. My computer hated it, the poor thing. Anyway, thanks to everyone on LiveStream that tuned in today and stayed around, chatted and helped out a bit earlier! And thanks to my followers on Tumblr tonight, they helped me pick out Draco's color scheme
Guys, I'm out. I'm tired, and I have to get up for work in a few hours. Enjoy - I know I did - even with all the hours put in to it.

Why has Hermione gotten rid of all the curl in her wonderfully wild, bushy hair? I certainly hope it wasn't for Draco's sake. If she wants to have a wizarding permanent and give herself boring smooth hair that's her business, but she shouldn't do it just because a silly boy like Draco doesn't appreciate her the way she is.

It's just that to me she doesn't look like Hermione with hair that's barely even wavy. She might as well be an Original Character.
But of course you must draw her as you see her.

Yes, that has more curl to it. She's smoothed it somewhat since her younger days, but it doesn't look like she's drowned it in Sleekeazy. You don't want people to start calling her the Greasy Git!

I love Draco's toes! It's a weird thing to say, I know, but I love the way you drew them. XD I really like their clothes, too. In fact, I think what Draco is wearing should be his official casual outfit!
