Ok, technical Q- How did you get the fur texture whites to stay so white? I've been concitering paint 'cause I loose all my whites. (I haven't figured out the whole colored pencil thing yet. Thanks)

You mean on the fur highlights? I start with the darkest shadows first and then work my towards the highlights. The areas that look light gray were colored last. A lot of people use white paint to perk up their highlights though. I think you can even color over acrylic paint or gouche so it should work well. I know that Kyoht uses acrylic paint to pick up her whites a bit

Awww, how sweet! Not to mention a great idea, I think most pet owners have pondered the thought of their pets as anthros at sometime or another

The expression, the pose...everything is gorgeous! Definitely an amazing piece! It's suggestive without being risque, and your main focus of the piece is more toward the face than the body, as the face has something about it that is so alluring!

The colouring and shading are great, and I like the fur on the tail.

Wow, amazingly good work. I'm impressed! Not much has impressed me in a long time, but this does. Looks more mature and sophisticated than anything else I think I've seen from you. Great hand/body language and expression. I think you're a natural.

Thank you! *blush* I tried some new stuff with this ...like really focusing on the fur texture. I've also been trying to get away from my usual "pose" character artwork and putting in more movement and personality
