Thanks Rebecca. It's odd how I don't always think about how and why I choose a subject until someone questions an image and I have to qualify what I have done and why! It's an interesting insight into someone elses view of things.

Yes and it makes me question if I might not have seen it that way initially myself I hadn't read others comments. I usually try to make my comment prior to reading any of the others because I am easily influenced but I didn't in this case

Thank you Migle. On my home page it says general photographer, that's me though I do like old ruins and landscapes the most and I love HDR but from time to time I like to take photographs the old fashioned way.

Thank you! The area in focus is quite small and is about 1/4 of the way down from the top due to the small apperture used on quite a long focal length lense (200mm) and it is the stream bed that is in focus not the surface of the water. I was trying to look through the water not at it.
