just wanted to show the materials i use
Copic markers
regular white printing paper
white out pen
sharpie markers (you can find these anywhere)
pastels
watercolor pencils
prismacolors or fabercastels
ball point pens
gel pens
glitter gel pens.
and in some occasions i use photoshop for the backgrounds <3

u can buy copics in art stores where i live in hong kong and u can also find them in a lot of places in japan
they are really expensive tho....

can I ask you something? I also work with copics and colored pencils but I want to give it this special touch by using white tones in my drawings. But my white gelpens are never opaque. How do you use your white gelpens?

For one set it costs 300$ on Amazon their website is much more expensive. I suggest buying them separately for 7.99 Six markers will costs you 50$, but they will sometimes have sales. I usually prefer buying them in a set for 50$ I know the markers won't be used like in stores. If you can go to the front desk and ask for a skin tone pack as a starter and see how you like them. Lots of tutorials on the internet and youtube so you will get the hang of it in no time.

Copic and Sketch markers are the same thing. Copic Sketch is just one of the types of Copic you can get. Theres also the Copic Original, Ciao and Wide. I suggest using Ciaos if you're just beginning.

For the most part people who use copic markers use a waterbased sketch book like canson.

I'm just starting my copics after collecting nearly all the Prismacolor markers/pencils over the last 2 years... So much more to work on collection wise...
