UPDATE: 6/10/09 Refined the lines and details a bit.
UPDATE: 7/21/09 There was actually an error in the shading of her hair and neck. In the previous version, there was no shading behind the hair hanging over her right shoulder. To remedy this, I flattened the appearance of the hair but shaded the neck covered by the strand of hair hanging loose. Realized this while chatting with =violentsamurai lol.

Were you going to edit or upload the edit - where the space between her right arm and her right side is? Looks like a solid cream colored shape in there by her elbow-to-rib area... Thought I'd see some of the details of the books behind her in that space..

Oh, there are books there, it's just the tonal values don't make it that apparent. I zoomed in and tweaked that some time ago. Hm, I guess it's also image dithering, it's quite visible in my high-res version. Thanks for pointing it out, anyway.

Most of it is from scratch, I'd say. My work setup consists of my laptop, tablet, a sketchbook and a full-body mirror. It helps to draw your own hands and such.
