A commission of Fruits Basket's Haru and Rin for *PookiesUncle !I tried what I could to make this picture look "fierce" or dramatic... with the bright background and the diagonal black gradients I tried to make it look somewhat instant and shocking, I guess... I hope it kinda worked?

Haha well i think in Japanese the title is pronounced "furuutsu basuketto" (or something like that) so someone just took the first "furu" and the second "ba" and presto! "furuba" ^^ i think they do the same thing for many other series...it's just kind of more convenient to say, having less syllables and all XD

Aw, an embrace both needed and feared. I think that the background gradients did help set the mood, they look at first like a strong light source coming from above and behind Haru. Very dramatic. Good work on their expressions, his determined and protective and her angst, and the whole dynamic of the one sided embrace.
