Hey, and thank you for taking the time to comment! And lol , I'm not worried at all. Sorry I made you read extra, it wasn't my intent. I did indeed use a reference for both , well spotted! And thanks, the fish is my favorite part, I thought he was quite funny although my niece did not share this sentiment ^^' Yea, honestly I never really try to be neat , I tend to let it be more organic. I agree on needing to color more neatly , I just get impatient, I know I shouldn't. I receive the like weight tip a lot but honestly don't know how to execute it. I could probably google it

Hello, I'm here as part of comment tag and the tag word was "green", so I instantly spotted this green plant here. But don't worry, I looked at your other stuff too. I didn't know what a Maririp is, so I read the link. This is pretty cute. I like how you must've used references for the plant and fish. I bet a lot of people would just draw something at random without bothering to make it something that really exists. The fish looks like a real fish instead of just a symbol of such. I like the lively lines on the hair and the head sphere. The rest of the linework looks more constrained and like you were struggling to keep it neat. There are some spot on the shin and a gap on the other shin. Also the fingers look a bit off. The color selection is bright and cheerful, but the strokes on the light blue area are rather messy. I'm no good at drawing with colored pencils, so I know it can be really hard, especially if they're the cheapest kind, but it would look better if the strokes were more controlled. I think the strokes that follow the shape of the bowl look better than ones that go horizontally. I think you could also add more character into your work by using varying line weight instead of all lines being uniform thickness.
Edited to add the next tag word, which is "glow". Your turn to visit rippleNsplash gallery
