Sudden thought - Remember the one episode in Season 1(Stand Alone Complex/Laughing Man arc) when the Major dived into that online conspiracy board site? Her online avatar was a pink haired woman(instead of her usual purple hair). The same avatar form showed up in the second season(2nd Gig). Granted she was doing 'undercover work' yet with all her talk about her 'ghost', I have to wonder if the Pink Hair Avatar is actually a subconscious manifestation of her Ghost.
What's your opinion on Shirow's other series, 'Appleseed'?
