A replacement piece I volunteered to do for a member of @da-sae

It was completed later than I had originally intended due to sickness so my sincerest apologies on that front.

Commission Information.

Sidenote; this is my first fanart of Fenris! He’s my canon favorite in DA2 and I need to draw him more often.

This looks really good! I especially like the surprisingly varied colour scheme despite the sparse setting. And how his eyes look like they're glowing a bit in the torch light (as elf eyes canonly do).
And it's always a joy to see Fenris smiling. He looks like he's waiting for something... someone?

Thank you very much! I had a lot of fun working on the colors in this one.
As far as the eyes go, I was really torn on if I wanted to try to paint the reflective cat eyes that some people I've seen can pull off really well; I ended up going against it because I wanted the mood of the picture to stay far away from creepy, and stick with more calm but the color palette would have given itself very easily to an eerie tone.

Fenris smiling is one of my favorite things for sure. The person I drew this for didn't specify if they head cannoned any Fenris romances or not so I wanted to leave it open to interpretation, but I still like to think he might be waiting for someone important.

I absolutely love the way you have the light shining through his ears. It's probably my favorite little detail in this entire picture.
Great job on this. It looks fantastic!

Thank you so much! This might be the first time I've done that kind of lighting intentionally, so here's fingers crossed for the rest of my pieces having an overwhelming amount of it. LOL
