Another "Legacy of Kain"-pic and the first illustration for my LoK-story.

I will not tell you much about this pic, because it's more or less in prework-state, even though a complete colored illustration, but let's tell you just as such:

The character in here is the alchemist (there goes the title) Kalaidos, who in my story wanted to recreate the race of the ancient vampires, Janos Audron belonged to.

He is basicalls the creator of the hybrids, the Nepharhim and started create the first generation of these hybrids by artificial means about 600 years after the events in Soul Reaver. He was executed for trying recreate to vampires and never had the chance to see, how the breeding went on.

400 years after his execution, the Nepharhim became indepented from the breeding and have not been in need of artificial ways in order to bear children since then.
Aeyrie, my main-protagonist, (pic of her in my gallery as well) is born another 200 years after her kind gained this independence and 60 years before the story starts.
