THANK YOU for artwork of my favorite pair of friends in G1, and that it's NOT SLASH. Or Ratchet throwing a fit cuz Wheeljack's injured himself (again). Yes, Wheeljack has his mishaps and yes fandom has assigned Ratchet a hell of a temper, but when that angle (or the "they're friends so they /must/ be involved!!!1" cant) is the only damned thing to be found, it gets really old really fast.
I love images of the two of them working together, or just hanging out or whatever, and this is one of my favorites. The texturing of the table and background is a really neat contrast to the slick smoothness of the characters themselves. And I like the shine and subtle glow of things.

And I totally agree with you about the yaoi/slash/whatever you wanna call it. Whenever a series gets a bit more popular, you can be sure, people will come up with a certain type of fandom...
Personally I don't draw it, because I simply don't like it at all. I tolerate people who like yaoi. Afterall you can not forbid it, but I will not doing it, not even in requests and stuff.

Yeah, I tolerate it . . . I'm one of those "don't like? don't look" (I'd never say anything to a yaoi artist, unless it's to compliment/critique the artwork itself, never the content), and there /are/ some really nice things I've seen. It just . . . my personal is I don't care for it, and it gets really old when it seems like that's "all" that can be found, so I really like to support the non-yaoi artists especially. =3

I didn't want to use the typical orange tone the walls of the arc usually have, so I've choosen these colours instead, plus I'm a fan of soft-shade-colouring
