Description I know, I know... he really isn't everyones favourite... but still, I think he owns it not to be forgotten. Afterall it have partly been thanks to him that Optimus is so popular.
Still I have to admit that I would never make him my favourite of the series, really not.

In fact, I actually feel a bit sorry for him. Sentinel really could be a great chara and leader... if he wouldn't compensate his guilt and trauma, caused by the giant spiders, when he illigally visited a planet in the restricted area, by the way he acts around people. Sentinel is afraid and unsure what to do and that have been shown in many episodes as proof. And that I tried to catch in this work.

But I still hope you like this picture.

Yeah... it is a bit of a problem with him. He acts like a jerk, but actually that's all just a cover for this fears and regrets.

Your analysis of Sentinel is spot on-- he was hurt, and in a backwards way is trying to protect others from being hurt by being so strict about rules. It's wonderful to see works that explore that. c:

Thank you. In fact, I do a lot of character- and personality-analysis before I actually start drawing a character. For the game I currently programming I even wrote a little report on each of the main-characters. And the report on my own, original charas is a whole lot shorter then the RockmanX-charas I use in there, by that...

yup. Unfortunately he wouldn't do anything about it, even though I KNOWS about his problem... that's why he acts like a jerk in the first place. It's really pride and shame at the same time.

"Predacons Rising" made me feel actually sorry for him. :C
Overall, he is one of my favourite characters. Someway, he brings such a comic relief with his being (mostly) a jerk towards the others.
