"Growing up in a family of humans, Valris was often looked down upon, his community branding him as an outsider and an evil being simply for being a tiefling. Valris took this hatred and aimed to rise to the top, to become so smart, useful and valuable that going forward, people would have to respect him. He decided to pursue this through studying and mastering the arcane arts.
Since then, Valris obsession with power has gained the attraction of demonic entities, offering him even more power. Which he has accepted."
