I've been really slow in scanning. Yay, slacking! Actually, I've mostly been fighting extremely strong and weird urges to clean. Ahh, spring.This is Yusuke (Yuusuke, whatever) from Yu-Yu Hakusho. My hubby cosplayed this when we first met. He even made a Spirit Gun. It was very cool. Alas, now he is too fat to wear it. lol! (I'm in the same boat)

Yus! I totally could do that! It would need to be commissioned (no space for just requests unfortunatly) I could do it for $30-40 depending on how complicated the pose is and that includes a 11 x 17 print and shipping.

i was talking with a classmate and they said that the creator of yuu yuu hakusho was asked how much he slept when the series first went to weekly publication and he said five hours... and the guy was all that's not bad, and the creator was all no, five hours a WEEK. XD nyahaha now THAT's dedication!

i don't know cause right now i've been doing 4/night and it's rough enough :c but i guess if i was hired to do that i would manage somehow!
LOL i want to see the cosplays! aww i want a shinegami outfit from bleach! they look so neat!
if i was a deathgod my sword would summon tater tots and the bankai would be crows to eat the cooked tater tots ^^ i'd be good for shock value and a quick lunch!

Shinigami costumes are pretty easy to make. I love Japanese clothing. It's mostly ALL just rectangles. None of those weird curvy sleeves that are a pain in the ass to attach.
Okay! I'll post some of our cosplays. I chunked up. So mine may wait until I drop about 30 lbs. (sighs)

mmm... shinegami outfit =} i bought myself a kimono sleeved jacket with a tall collar... it has red sakura and skulls on it ^^ cause i signed a lease on a place for the summer and i felt the need to commemorate the event!

Losing weight DOES suck. I had a lot of fun getting fat. I look at it as almost a shedding of memories - and by memories I mean cheeseburger induced thigh fat. Mmmm, memories.

Oh man. I have a con this weekend. I tried on costume bits and went "urk..." Stooopid diets. Also excersise stinks. I tried to loose weight by thinking about it realy hard, but that was boring so I stopped.
I love your comic pages! I've never really thought about manga vs western comics like that, but yeah, I think you're right.
