painted this on the bottom of the longboard I got a few weeks ago...unfortunately the paint reacted with the finish and bubbled up in most places...the red is where the finish/paint was scratched off, somehow it just came off really easily with your fingernail...I sanded it off and re-did it, but yeah, this is what it looked like.Related content

Beautiful design! I love its simplicity and the electric blue was an awesome color choice -- it helps the yellow-green eye really stand out. I sure wish this was the graphic on my longboard.

What type of finish did you use? I'm looking in to painting mine, I don't really mind if it bubbles, not too much anyway.

you painted just with like, brush and paint? i've been working on a custom deck, and i'm not sure how airbrushing would hold up.

Really cool. I think the red specs add a little more to the image. Say the tiger is going through fire and the red is a few embers drifting past...you get what I am saying?
But this is really nice, to bad you had to redo it.

That's such a good idea. I just got one a few days ago. Currently I like the design on the bottom of my board, but if it ever gets scuffed up I might sand off the finish and paint my own. Coolies.
