Eve's father, Leo,was the strongest and most powerful warrior in the Army of Angels. He was feared yet loved by all who encountered him. One terrible night, a battle broke out between Angels and an army of Demons who were trying to break through Heaven's gate and murder The All Mighty. Eventually, the demons were able to get through, causing mayhem as they were heading to the Holy Palace. Many Angels lost their lives that day, including Odette, Eve's mother as she was protecting her child. A pack of demons barged through the home of the great warrior Angel but to their dismay, they only found his wife and daughter. Odette lost her life while protecting Eve, but Eve managed to escape with only a scratch to the right side of her face. She screamed out for her father as she ran through the burning kingdom ,witnessing the death of many of her brothers and sisters.

After finding his wife's lifeless body, Leo was filled with rage and grief. Although he didn't see Evangeline's body, he could only assume that his only daughter was also dead. After many hours of treacherous fighting, the Angels came out superior, watching the Demons flee. Although they lost many lives that night, their spirit and faith was still high. They knew that The All Mighty will make things better again. All was hopeful but Leo, he had lost his wife and he believed his daughter too. But when he heard a familiar voice call out for him, his heart almost stopped beating as he saw his daughter, bloody but alive. The reunion between father and daughter was bitter-sweet. While Leo was glad to have Eve, she only reminded him of his wife. The love of his life was gone and now he had to raise the child they had. It was too much for Leo to bear, daily he blamed himself for his wife's death. Constantly repeating, "If only I was stronger...". His grief and his anger soon lead to Leo's insanity. He was going to become stronger and kill the entire race of demons for what they had done to his family. Eve could only watch in fear and confusion as her father grew more insane. She also grieved for her mother but having her father there made it better for her..or so she had hoped.

One year after the battle, Leo finally began to put his plan into action. He collected any belonging he might need and in the dead of night, woke Eve from her sleep. Leo carried his daughter for the last time to the home of his trusted friend, Julius. As his friend knew Leo was too far in his plan to talk out of, he just let him leave Eve with him...he knew it was for the best. Leo kissed his daughter's forehead and placed a sword besides her. It was the sword her parents were going to give her for her birthday but now it was the last thing to remember them by. Leo whispered to his daughter, "I will avenge your mother, my sweet angel...and I will grow stronger for the three of us." and with that, he left his daughter there, sleeping away the night she will hardly remember.

  Years after her father's disappearance, Evangeline grew up to become a messenger Angel for Heaven alongside her guardian, Julius. He wouldn't talk to Eve much about her father even though her father's disappearance was always on her topic to speak on. She was always investigating and trying to find out exactly where her father was even though many of her peers wished she would give up on finding, 'Heaven's run-away warrior'. Eve wanted to find her father and bring him home but she felt as if something terrible will happen soon.

  After hearing many rumors about missing Holy artifacts from Earth, Eve wanted to investigate more into it. She believed that her father had something to do with the robberies and had her mind set on it. She ran into the Holy Palace and demanded to speak to The All Mighty. After forcing her way into their throne, Eve got on her knees and looked at them, bowing to them and quickly telling them her proposal. She asked if she could investigate the robberies of the Holy artifacts on Earth and that she believed it is more serious than human believe it too be. Even though The All Mighty told her that the investigation was a lost cause, she was determined to go down and check it out. After seeing this determination, The All Mighty gave Evangeline clearance to investigate, as long as she returned every Sunday to give them an update of her mission. Eve agreed and that evening, she kissed Julius goodbye and walked out of Heaven's gate to fall down to Earth

Eve followed the trail of the first robbery for months, all the way to the town, Indieville. She wasn't sure what she will find there but she knew that she will get the answers she is looking for.
