This is the only drawing I've actually completed this week
Gawd... too much work! XPAnyhoo, this is... me! As a Mew Mew! Yaaaay XD Decided to do this for fun, since I see a lot of people who make Mew Mews to represent themselves and stuff^^ She basically looks like me... except for colors

Actually tokyo chimeran is well more ...adult than other fans do for tokyo mew mew Uvas is a dragon she has another personality called Ryuu , the dragon who usually takes over when she transforms,Uvas's sister was killed by the government when they tried to get to Uvas and experiment on her so naturally Uvas goes on a killing rampage nyeh they deserve it.The red one is a phoenix the green is a kirin which is a Japaneses unicorn thing the blue is a sea serpent and the yellow one is a chimera a lion with a serpents tail it's going to be a drawn anime by me so i'll put it on youtube when i get an account so keep checking on me

I don't see how Mew Grape is a way of ripping off Miss Ikumi. Now, if I made a story about five girls with animal genes and called it my own, sure, that'd be ripping off.
This is a fan-mew, based upon the works of Miss Ikumi, therefore it's not really ripping off.
Besides, it's not like I completely stole an outfit design. I *based* it off of her designs to fit it with the series.

you've got designs from Mew Ichigo's skirt, Mew Lettuce's back, Mew Pudding's straps, and you should have your own design for the arm things and neck things. Also, naming your character after a food is unoriginal.

Mew Grape's outfit is very flower-based. My idea. Maybe a bit Ringo-ish, but whatever. She still stands out. And no, I'm BASING the designs off of Miss Ikumi's original designs to fit it with the series AS I SAID BEFORE. I do the arm puffs and choker like hers so she matches with the story. I name her after a fruit, again, to fit her in. I save my originality for my original characters in my original manga, not my fan-characters.
And you know what? That's your opinion. I'm rather fond of my Mew Grape, she doesn't pwn anyone, and no one pwns her. She's me.

It's more original to have your own designs, make up your own, don't "base" them off of anything else, for that IS ripping Ikumi off... having a name of a fruit is too similiar to any of the official characters, if I was Ikumi-san I'd be mad at you.

Look, I don't why I'm even bothering because your obviously to much of an ass to listen to anyone. Leave Tamao alone. Put plain and simple. Why? This is bullshit thats why. Your getting all worked up over a made up character. The design of the character is her choice. Your opinions are welcome but you have taken it to far, to the point of annoyence. Your characters are nice but honestly nothing makes your art any better or worse than Tamao's. There isn't a right or wrong in art, it's just simple creativity that comes from you. I'm wasting my time since your probably just going to come to my page and bash my mews.
But I don't give. You need to get a life, it's not that big of a deal. Leave people alone before you get reported to an admin for harassment and all your "origional" mew mews go "bye bye". We don't need people like you on DA.

'cept for having the stomach flu... honestly I'm being nice compared to other people who've flamed other's art to the point of them breaking down and crying, if they do that because of ME, then they really need to get some backbone, I'm stating my honest opinions, they should work on their characters, I think Mia Ikumi would be disappointed if somebody just plain out ripped her off...

She didnt remake her own mew mews and said it was all her idea this that and the third. She didnt write a story similar to tokyo mew mew and call it her own idea. It's FANART.
And stating your opinion is a good thing, yes you can do that. But seriously, stop using that as an excuse. But incase you didnt know, these artist don't like you and would appreciated if you just left them and their art alone. Your opinions are not wanted anymore because you have been nothing but rude and annoying. You say your trying to help, but your not. Honestly.

I have to agree with Tamao here. Anime characters aren't ALL about originallity y'know. And it's not on artistic skill either, not how many you have either. It can also be based on what their personallity is like, and just their overall character.
Some people work really hard on a picture, and do not appreciate to be bashed on, like me. Some words really hurt even if it may seem like a joke to you. Please be more careful with your words
