This is an oil painting I did last november. I do like to paint with oils, I love the smell and the feel of it. It reminds me of something I can´t really explain, but that means a lot to me. Something to do with the time when I started to paint.This painting depicts the road to a place called Serra da Cantareira. My parents have a house there and I went to this place during my whole childhood. The house has been abandoned by my parents for many years, and now I started to go there, to fix everything up and maybe live there. It´s only an hour from the city but there is a lot of nature there, the last time I went there (a couple of days ago) I stayed for a week and had a great time. I even saw a group of monkeys.. I´m also starting to plant some vegetables. Things are really looking good!
