Okay this is the painting that I had almost finished in my folder 1 1/2 years ago but lost interest. I had also painted my elf from this painting [link] which was one of five I had done for Random House publishers, but they chose another elf. I decided to add my dragon hatchlings and elf together. But as my friend Christine said, the baby dragons were kind of lost in the large painting where they were shrunk down. So I'm posting my original painting also. This is how they were painted first. After finishing it last night I decided Christine was right, they were lost and needed a painting of their very own. So here they are just hatched in a dragon cave seeing the sun for the first time.
