Sunset marks another step toward the inevitable hour.One less day of wasting away in agony, yet one less day with that most cherished.
As death looms larger than life, from the depths of the weary soul wells up a torrential pain:
One more day, one more day. I wish I could just have one more day.

Your digital painting looks like traditional painting. The result is just beautiful. Besides, there's such a strong and moving message supporting your painting. It makes it really... human and meaningful. It seems like you reached some kind of maturity as a human being and as an artist.

Apparently it made the assistant dean of clinical skills and medical education almost tear up...or so's the word down the grapevine...there are some awards during the art show, so we'll see what happens.
Med school's been pretty intense, but I feel like I have a direction now, so it's all good
