Darkstar (Obsidian +Dani Moonstar) for the JLX Unlimited Amalgam challenge by @beefcakeboss.
Moonstar is one of my favorite mutants of all time. I don’t know anything about Obsidian as a character but he has an interesting design. I took the black and blue color scheme and tweaked it.
I looked up the definition of a dark star and it has something to do with dark matter and maybe black holes. I just saw space stuff and riffed on that idea. (Dani also had star hair for a lil while in the 90’s.) I figure she gets her powers from the energy consumed by a black hole 🕳️ 🩵🏹🌌🌚✨
