I once saw another potential design for a corrupted Peridot where she kept most of her humanoid form but became distorted and modified to crawl about on multiple legs. I think this version is a lot closer to something you would see in the show.

Another thing to note that I realized upon listening to the provided music is that the wailing found through the song totally sounds like the wails this thing could produce.

I think that piece of music would be a bit more suiting in the context of the show or something, albeit modified, however the provided music is also very good in my opinion.

You are venturing through a cave in a mysterious wasteland you found while hiking. This strange place is full of husks of bizarre machinery and thousands of humanoid holes carved into the walls. You ventured into a small cave to further explore the wasteland. You hear a strange moaning noise from deeper in the cave. You continue walking forward when suddenly a creature comes out from a corner of the cavern. Its mostly semi transparent with long tentacles forming around a central core like fingers around the palm of a hand. The creature turns to you and emits another estranged cry before charging forward.
